Why would someone hire a pet sitter through DOGVACAY 

Why would someone hire a pet sitter through DOGVACAY? I just don’t understand why someone would pick up their phone and book a pet sitter having not met them and just think that they are true professional pet sitters!!!

I just got finished reading and article on WCVB News about a man, that hired a person that claims to be a pet sitter/dog walker from this phone app.  I am horrified to know that this person would go that route.  As a professional pet sitter, in business for 10 years, Love and Kisses Pet Sitting is a

professional pet sitting business with employees that take this very seriously.  We are fully insured and bonded and have many wonderful reviews on Google+ Yelp and Angie’s List and  many other social media sites as  ALL professional pet sitter do.

This person allegedly robbed them and left the dog to die. The owner of the dog claims that  the woman took about $100 cash from an envelope set aside for a firefighters funeral fund, a collection of gift cards worth between $600 and $800 and several buckets of coins that he’d been filing for years, probably worth between $500 and $1,500. I am so upset over this as it gives us professional pet sitter a bad name.

I want everyone to know that DOGVACAY does NOT hire professional pet sitters.  They do not EVER meet the people that they send to your house. A person sends in an application online and they get put on a list for clients to contact. That’s it. You do not know what you are getting and who these people are because anyone can apply.

So please when you are looking for a professional pet sitter, do your homework.   Make sure you are hiring a true, trusted, background checked, professional pet sitter that has reviews that are outstanding on ALL social networks. One that has their own insurance and if they have employees, that they are all background checked.
