What type of pet do you care for?
We care for all manner of pets! We will dog walk a small Chihuahua or a Great Dane. Big or small, we walk them all! We pet sit for domestic, exotic and farm animals. Quite honestly, if you asked us to walk your peacock- we would give it a try!
We have been in business since 2006.
Yes, we are insured with Century Insurance Group for our insurance and bonding.
Yes, all our pet sitter’s have undergone a background check with ACUTRAQ Background screening.
The visits are anywhere from 15 minutes to 24 hour care. We can customize our service to your pet’s unique needs.
Do you do overnight stays at the client’s house with the pets?
Yes, we are finding a lot more people requesting them. We offer 10-hour, 12-hour or 24-hour overnight service.
As soon as you know your travel dates, let us know! We love a lead time of at least 2 weeks.
Yes, we use Precise Petcare. You can login through the app and make changes to your Home or Pet Profiles on the go. You can also add, adjust or cancel visits from the app.
We operate on a Team structure. If your Primary Sitter is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances one of our other 45+ sitters or management can step in. We get alerts through Precise Petcare if a sitter has not arrived to your pet at the scheduled time, as an additional failsafe. This is also why we require 2 keys. One stays with the Primary Sitter and the other is in our office in case we need to complete a visit.
We hope this does not happen, but if it does we will consult with you or your emergency contact on the next steps of care. Our clients fill in their Client Profile with Emergency Contact(s), Veterinarian office information and Pet’s medical information to be referenced in case of emergency.
Yes. We administer medications, including insulin injections, to the pets in our care with no additional fees.
We sure do…at no additional charge! Mail and packages are retrieved daily. Our clients fill in their Client Profile with the day of the week their garbage is picked up and we will place the can(s) out the night before and put the cans back after pick up.
We are pet sitters and dog walkers 365 days a year. We will come and care, exercise or walk your pets when you need us to! Some of our clients are home when we come to care for their pets or they may be on an Italian cruise for a week. We take care of your pet’s needs: fresh water, clean up messes, feed them, exercise them, bring in mail/packages, water your plants, administer medications, alternate lights, etc! We can schedule your visit time to meet your pet needs.
Our service area covers parts of Cabarrus, Mecklenburg and Union counties in NC. We proudly serve the following areas of Charlotte: The Arboretum, Ballantyne, Brandon Oaks, Concord, Harrisburg, Hemby Bridge, Highland Creek, Indian Trail, Indian Land, Kannapolis, Lake Park, Marvin, Matthews, Mint Hill, Monroe, Providence Estates East, Providence Plantation, Provincetowne, Stallings, Waxhaw, Weddington, and Wesley Chapel. If you live close to these areas, please give us a call! We may be able to help.
You will be asked to input your credit card into our secure site and will be charge 2 days prior to your service starting.
You may leave a tip for your pet sitter through Precise Petcare, leave an envelope with their name on it at your home or we can provide the pet sitter’s Venmo.
