I bought this last Christmas for my daughter who loves dogs• the treats are eggy and soft nit hard like a traditional cookie but my dog loves them. They are not a traditional textured dog cookie but a healthy dun to make treat. We cut the peanut. It try recipe in half and they hold pretty well until gone if you make a full batch share with other dog friends. We make these alternatively with traditional cookies that you roll and bake but that kind is so much more labor intensive it can be a big production. These are fast and fun and beat store bought sawdust cookies any day
I love my Sunbeam Dog Treat Maker (and my pups agree). So easy to make perfect dog treats. I have made the bacon and peanut butter dog treat recipes from the booklet included. I also made some additions like bananas to the peanut butter recipe. The recipes make more biscuits than stated in the booklet (which is awesome).
