Love and Kisses Pet Sitting is a well-established and highly trusted pet care company proudly serving families throughout Union County and beyond since 2006. Our team provides dependable, loving in-home pet care for clients who are traveling or working long hours.

We are currently looking for reliable, motivated animal lovers to join our team as Part-Time Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and spending time caring for pets in their own homes.

Our pet sitters provide professional, compassionate care while maintaining the highest standards for both our clients and their pets. At Love and Kisses Pet Sitting, we pride ourselves on hiring positive, dependable, and detail-oriented team members who truly love animals.

This position requires availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are our busiest times when clients need pet care the most.

Pet Sitter Responsibilities

Communicate regularly with management regarding schedules, updates, and client needs
Provide professional communication with clients via text, email, and phone
Service clients within approximately a 5–10 mile radius of your home
Provide loving, attentive care for dogs, cats, birds, and other household pets
Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds using safe leash handling practices
Work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, etc.)
Ensure clients’ homes are secure when entering and leaving
Maintain clean pet areas and tidy up any messes during visits
Send detailed visit updates and notes to clients after each visit
Adapt to occasional schedule changes or short-notice requests
Represent Love and Kisses Pet Sitting professionally at all times
Go above and beyond to ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and happy

Basic Requirements

Applicants should live in or near the desired service area we are hiring for
Must have a valid NC/SC driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
Must own a working smartphone for communication and scheduling
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be friendly, dependable, well-spoken, and detail oriented
Must maintain consistent availability and reliability
Must be able to work a variety of shifts including daily dog walking and vacation pet sitting visits

Experience & Compensation

Experience working with animals is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate who has a genuine love for pets and a strong work ethic.

Compensation is paid per 15-60 minute pet visits, plus tips.
