Cold Winter Months

A Call to Our Fellow Pet Lovers: Let’s Bring Them Inside
As a pet sitter who has spent years caring for the beloved pets of Union County and beyond, it’s difficult to see dogs left outside in extreme heat or cold. The commitment to bringing a dog into a home should mean treating them as a family member.
Dogs feel the cold and heat just like people do, despite their fur. Leaving a dog outdoors all winter or summer, when you are comfortable indoors, is heartbreaking. A simple act, like bringing them inside at night or in harsh weather, can make a world of difference.
Consider offering your pet a warm bed and the love and devotion they deserve. Even a crate indoors is a kinder choice than leaving them to brave the elements alone.
Share your thoughts in the comments on how we can encourage kindness toward our furry family members.
