Dog-Friendly Bars

3 Cool Dog-Friendly Bars in Charlotte, North Carolina

Having a dog means never having to venture out alone.  Now more than ever, Charlotte area bars are catering to dogs and their owners!  It’s not surprising, really.  After all, according to the ASPCA, 44 percent of households in the United States have a dog! As your Indian Trail pet sitter, we like to stay on top of “who’s who” in pet-friendly businesses! On any given weekend, you have a multitude of choices.  What are you waiting for?

  1. The Dog Bar – If you’re looking to enjoy a cold brew while your dog is allowed to run around off leash then this is the place for you. Hang out with other dogs and dog lovers in a low-key, casual environment.  Your dog will have a blast and so will you.  This cool joint in the art district of Charlotte even serves up water for your dog.
  2. Lucky Dog Bark and Brew – With locations in Charlotte and Lake Norman, Lucky Dog is the place to be for dogs and their humans. They don’t prepare food on site, however, they partner with a bunch of food trucks and you’re always welcome to bring takeout from one of the many restaurants in the area.  This bar boasts 20 taps from local breweries as well as daily specials.  Whether you stop in after work one night or make an afternoon of it on the weekend, your dog is welcome with you.  Your dog will have one heck of a time scampering around the indoor/outdoor dog park.
  3. NoDa Brewing Company – If the brew is your stew then NoDa Brewing Company really is the place for you and your dog!  They offer free 45 minute guided tours that will educate you on the nuts and bolts of the brewing process.  Live music, food trucks, and tastings are just some of the events you can come to enjoy.  The best part is that dogs are made to feel right at home in this cool bar that boasts an industrial vibe.  Rumor has it that there are a few resident dogs that actually run the place.  I guess you’ll have to go find out for yourself.

If you love beer, socializing, dogs or well, all of the above, then you must check out these dog-friendly, Charlotte area bars.  You’ll be glad you did.  Be sure to check with each establishment about their rules and regulations regarding dogs on the premises.  As always, be courteous to other guests and follow all rules so that even more establishments may follow suit and cater to the dog lovers of Charlotte and beyond.  If you’re planning a day or night out on the town without your dog, that’s ok, too.  As your Indian Trail pet sitter, we can step in and cater to your dog right in the comfort of his own home.

Now you have no excuses to bring your dog out with you.  If you want to leave him home then be sure to call in your favorite pet sitter to come and take him for a nice long walk.  Call Love and Kisses Pet Sitting if you are in the Union County area of NC
