Calling all Dog Loving, Fixer-Upper, American Pickers Fans

If the mere thought of the last episode of Fixer Upper nearly broke your dog-loving heart, we have to tell you about the pet-friendly gem we found right here in Charlotte.  You see, getting your antique, picker fix has never been easier with the Sleepy Poet Antique Malls.  The best part, to us anyway, is that you can bring your well-behaved dog along! Go ahead, scream! We did, too.

What are the Sleepy Poet Antique Malls?

The Sleepy Poet is a multiple location Antique mall right here in Charlotte.  Beginning with their first location in South Park over ten years ago, the Sleepy Poet has now become a popular destination for antique junkies all across Charlotte.  In fact, people from all over travel just to get a gander at this cool place.  This place literally has it all.  “Everything from antique furniture, vintage clothing, costume jewelry, classic home décor, mid-century modern, vintage vinyl, and much, much, more!”

Where are the Sleepy Poet Antique Malls located?

The Charlotte Sleepy Poet, located at 4450 South Blvd, boasts 50,000 square feet of antique goodness.  With aisles and aisles of merchandise, you and your dog can literally make a day of shopping ‘til you drop.  Their other location, conveniently located at 111 West Main Avenue in Downtown Gastonia’s Art and Antique district, has multiple levels of shopping featuring over 80 vendors! Even better, both locations are open all year long, with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Vendors wanted!

The Sleepy Poet is always looking for new vendors to join their family.  With just a few easy steps, you could be on your way to becoming a vendor and hosting a booth at either, or both locations.  Head over to their website to access the application.  After that, stop by either location to drop off your application.  The Sleepy Poet will also want some photos of items that you will be selling as well as other locations you sell your merchandise at so they can get a sense of your overall style, too.  According to their website, their commission cut is only 10%, which isn’t bad at all.

Well, what are you waiting for? Grab your (well-behaved) dog, hop in the car, get down to the Sleepy Poet Antique Mall and get your Joanna Gaines vibe on.  There’s no telling what you will find to “Fix Up” your very own Fixer Upper!
