Should You Board Your Cat Or Hire A Pet Sitter ?

Cat Boarding

Cat Boarding

What you should prepare for

Cat boarding can be a very traumatic thing for your little fur ball.  I am here to tell you that I would not ever board my cat anywhere.  If I was to go on vacation, I would absolutely have a professional pet sitter come into my home where my cat is safe and happy.

Cats prefer a calm, quiet atmosphere

Chances are if you board your cat at a kennel or a veterinary office, they are going to hear dogs barking all day.  That alone is stress enough for a cat even if it is just for a weekend.  Call the trusted pet sitter.

Most cats do not want to mingle

Cats do not want to be around other cats that they do not know.  It is just not in them.  They prefer to cozy up on your bed or under your bed.   Not n  a cold cage and unfamiliar surrounds.  Call your local pet sitter to come over to care for your kitty.

Make sure vaccinations are up to date

If you do decide to board your cat, you will have to make sure that they are current on all their vaccinations.  If you call in your pet sitter, you do not have to worry about that.

Your cat will not like you anymore

If you do choose to put your precious kitty cat in a boarding facility you will have to practice the process of entering and exiting its travel carrier.  Once your beloved feline returns to the castle, prepare for days — and possibly weeks — of bribery to get back on its good side.

If you are in the need for a professional pet sitter feel free to call Love and Kisses Pet Sitting for all your cat sitting needs.  We are here for you and your loving kitty. 704-763-9857
