Making a homemade dog recipe is not only a fun activity but also a pleasant surprise for your dog. Unlike many commercial treats that are full of preservatives with homemade Pumpkin recipes, you only use fresh ingredients. Here are Some Pumpkin Recipes for your dogs that provide you with a tasty way of expressing your love.

1) Pumpkin Dog Biscuits


• Two eggs

• A half cup of canned pumpkin

• A half teaspoon of table salt

• Two and a half cups of flour (Wheat is highly recommended)

• Water


1. Preheat your oven to temperatures of 350 degrees Fahrenheit

2. Blend together pumpkin and eggs before adding salt, flour, and dry milk

3. Add water as necessary to the resulting dough slightly workable

4. The dough should now be both dry and stiff, do not let the possibility of the crumbs remaining in the bowl bother you.

5. You have to mix the dough with your hands since it’s too stiff for your electric mixer

6. Roll the dough to a half-inch thick

7. Cut it into shapes

8. Place the pieces one inch apart on unoiled cookie sheet

9. Bake on one side for 20 minutes before turning over and baking for another 20 minutes

2) Healthy Pumpkin Balls

This snack is delicious and full of fiber, beta-carotene, potassium, iron and vitamin A.


• A half cup of canned pumpkin

• Four teaspoons of molasses

• Four teaspoons of water

• Two teaspoons of vegetable oil

• Two cups of whole wheat flour

• 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)

• A quarter-teaspoon of baking powder

• A quarter-teaspoon of baking soda


1. Preheat your oven to 350

2. Mix together pumpkin, vegetable oil, molasses, and water in a bowl

3. Add the baking soda, whole wheat flour, cinnamon and baking powder to the mixture before stirring until dough softens

4. Scoop our tiny spoonful of dough and roll it to form balls using your hands. Wet hands are more effective.

5. Put the balls on mildly greased cookie sheets and flatten them using a fork

6. Bake for about 25 minutes until the dough hardens.

3) Peanut Butter Pumpkin Pup-Cake


· One egg

· One cup of 100 percent pure canned pumpkin

· 3 teaspoons of peanut butter

· A half apple finely chopped

· A half cup of baking powder


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

2. Mix together all the ingredients until smooth. Grease a jumbo muffin or a ramekin tin

3. Bake until golden or for 20 minutes. Dip a toothpick from time. When the toothpick comes out clean, stop baking

4. Cool it on a rack for some 5 minutes.

5. Frost the blend with either a spoonful of pure Greek yogurt, peanut or honey.
