Indian Trail Pet Sitter Shares What is The Best Clumping Kitty Litter for Odor Control?

If you ask me I would have to say The Best Clumping kitty litter for odor control would have to be Clump and Seal by Arm and Hammer. It is much better than their other stuff. Oh, and not the light, as the light one doesn’t work nearly as well. One of my clients uses the great big box of tidy cats light from Sam’s Club.  The smaller boxes and tubs of tidy cats light are just awful. Don’t know why there’s no consistency in tidy cats. It’s corn/wheat based with scents. No dust, staining, it clumps,  and biodegradable.

Blue Buffalo makes a clumping litter from walnut shells. I have been using it for a few months now with multiple cats and the difference is amazing. There is something in the tannins of the shells that help control odor. It looks like ground coffee. But no perfume smell and very little dust. My one client’s kitty’s has stopped getting such goopy eyes and is not as sneezy since they switched. It is more expensive than tidy cats or arm and hammer but well worth it in my opinion. Especially if your cat shows signs of itchy eyes.
